Healthy snacks should not have to be fancy. And this one is definitely not. We forget that the best real food snacks are fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. But that does not meant they have to be bland. Amp up the flavour with spices, in this case cinnamon. I suggest Ceylon cinnamon. Full disclaimer however, it has turned me into a cinnamon snob because of its unreal flavour that makes my tastebuds sing.
Cinnamon Dusted Pineapple
- 10 pineapple chunks
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Cut pineapple into chunks if you have not purchased it pre-cut
- Sprinkle cinnamon on pineapple
- Pack in a jar for a handy and portable snack
